Spend a few days visiting numerous sights such as Cape Point, Boulders Beach, and dive with sevengill, mako and blue sharks, as well as great-white cage diving in Gansbaai.

There will also be the opportunity to explore Cape Town for further sightseeing, such as trips to Table Mountain, a tour to Robben Island, a wine tour, and more. Spend five days diving the spectacular, colorful reefs of the Eastern Cape and interacting with marine animals including whales, dolphins, seals, sharks and penguins. You’ll also get the chance to participate in adventure activities such as hiking, canopy tree-top tours, a stop at the world’s highest bridge bungee jump and game viewing at Addo National Park.

Site Info: Arrive in Nelson Mandela Bay (the Friendly City), known for its unique and rich marine biodiversity, malaria-free Big 5 game viewing, long stretches of golden beaches and cultural heritage. The road will lead past the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma Mountain ranges along the Garden Route to popular Plettenberg Bay, home to a colony of Cape fur seals.

    Day 2:

After an early breakfast, transfer to Gansbaai (an approximately 2.5-our drive) for the great-white shark cage dive. The road winds along the coast with spectacular views of False Bay and you will have the opportunity to stop off at Stony Point to the view the African penguin colony.

On arrival in Gansbaai a light meal and refreshments will be served, after which a white-shark marine biologist will give a short talk on the research being done and what you can expect on your excursion. The crew on the boat attracts the sharks and keeps them interested, giving divers the opportunity to view the sharks underwater while being protected in a steel cage. Light snacks and refreshments are provided on the boat. Drive back to Cape Town in the late afternoon.

    Day 3:

After breakfast, embark on an ocean safari to see pelagic mako and blue sharks, which are found in the the warm, clear waters off Cape Point. It is a full-morning excursion and en route you'll be able to view Cape Point from the ocean. Being surrounded by blue sharks that interact and come close to divers makes for an exhilarating dive. After returning to the harbor you will drive back to Cape Town in the late afternoon.

    Day 4:

After breakfast depart for the sevengill and seal dives. Once kitted up, the boat will drop you off into the magical kelp forests close to the shore, at a depth of approximately 32 feet (10 m). Here in the shallow water one can find the broadnose sevengill shark in its natural habitat. Other possible sightings include the puffadder shyshark. The second dive will be nearby at a seal colony, where the seals are very playful and enjoy showing off their acrobatic skills in front of the divers. A visit to Cape Point National Park will precede the scenic drive via Chapman’s Peak to your hotel. This spectacular scenery, with a 650-foot (200 m) drop-off and high cliffs on either side, will offer a journey to remember.

    Day 5:

This day there will be optional excursions, which can include Table Mountain, a wine tour, a beach visit, shopping etc. Additional diving can also be arranged.

    Day 6:

Check out of the hotel after breakfast for a day drive to Plettenberg Bay. Check into the hotel in Plettenberg Bay during the late afternoon and have dinner at a local restaurant.

    Day 7:

After breakfast check in at the diver center for two dives (seal and reef dives). The dive with the seals is an amazing wildlife experience as they playfully interact with the divers. The reefs in this area are spectacular, and boat trips are often interrupted by sightings of schools of dolphins and whales. The rest of the afternoon (time depending), will be spent doing a walk along Robberg Nature Reserve.

    Day 8:

Drive to Port Elizabeth via Tsitsikamma National Park, where you can do the canopy tree-top tour – an adventure of zip-lining from one platform to another through the magnificent tree tops of the Yellowwood forest. After lunch at Tsitiskamma National Park, we will stop at the Bloukrans Bridge, the highest bungee bridge jump in the world, where guests will have the option to bungee. Check into the hotel in Port Elizabeth in the late afternoon and have dinner at a local restaurant.

    Day 9 – 12:

Spend four days diving numerous spectacular dive sites in and around Nelson Mandela Bay. The boat, a 26-foot (8 m) RIB launches from the beach within walking distance of the hotel, which is ideally situated on the beachfront. There will be a visit to St. Croix Island to view the colony of African penguins with possible sightings of whales, dolphins, sea birds, and more. The afternoons are spent at leisure, enjoying the beachfront or taking part in optional activities, such as beach hikes, cultural township tours, further game viewing, additional diving, kayaking or shopping.

    Day 13:

Transfer to Addo Elephant Park for a morning game drive and lunch in the park. The afternoon will be spent at Schotia Game Reserve doing an afternoon game drive and in the evening you will enjoy a buffet dinner around an African campfire before transferring back to the hotel.
