    The Sardine Run
    Port Elizabeth, South Africa 2019

This is your chance to have a front-row seat to the Biggest Shoal on Earth!

Experience the exhilarating Sardine Run, spending time out at sea interacting with dolphins, whales, seals, penguins, sharks and birds, chasing the “Biggest Shoal on Earth!”

There is a short window for the Sardine Run out of Port Elizabeth (PE), South Africa. The run here happens typiaclly in a four week window between mid April – mid May. The great thing about the run out of PE, is you also have fantastic reef diving, and we are based out of South Africa’s 5th largest city.

The thing to remember about the Sardine Run, is that it’s all about time put in. The more sea days, the higher your chances of getting action.

It all starts in PORT ELIZABETH (Nelson Mandela Bay): This area is becoming known as one of the major hot spots for the Sardine Run by International photographers and filming companies including National Geographic. Top International Underwater Photographer, Michael Aw from Oceans Geographic visited this year to document the Sardine Run.
